Baby name site, Nameberry recently shared their most searched baby names this year, providing insight into what names parents are favouring for their new additions. While plenty of popular baby names from 2016 continue to make the list, some unexpected chart toppers suggest parents are edging towards trendy and unique monikers over traditional and overused names.

While 2016 chart toppers like Olivia, Isabelle, Amelia, Charlotte and Ava all made the top ten, there are a few unique additions to the list.
