Sometimes, getting creative with toilet training is all it takes to help your tot master this important life skill. And this great little tip uses nothing more than a whiteboard marker, and an open mind – remember whatever works for your family is best.
It’s great for kiddos who may be afraid of using the big toilet or won’t hop on because there are much more interesting things to do. Just give them a whiteboard marker, and sit them on the toilet backwards.
Let them draw to their heart’s content (the marker will come off easily with a wipe), and hopefully, they’ll be so engrossed in their drawing they will happily sit until they’ve used the toilet.
Just remember to give the toilet seat a good wipe before letting your little artist use it as their canvas! And now that your clever kid has mastered using the big toilet – it’s time to teach them the art of wiping their own bottom.
