1.7L litre stainless steel kettle with variable temperature control. This recall involves 1.7 litre electric kettles that were manufactured from October 2013 through June 2017, and sold from November 2013 to February 2018 nationally in Australia.

The models affected with serial numbers beginning with YA342XXXXX through YA724XXXXX.


The handle on the kettle may become loose or separate from the body, posing a potential safety hazard.

Sold at nationally at:

Myer, David Jones, Harvey Norman, Good Guys, Bing Lee, Winnings, Online selected specialists homeware retailers and independent houseware stores.

Dates sold: 

1 November 2013 – 21 February 2018

What should consumers do:

Consumers should immediately stop using the product. Consumers who have registered their kettle will be contacted directly; other consumers should contact 1800 986 190 to arrange for a replacement of the kettle.
