Cool kids’ products win Design Awards

An interactive playground, an innovative child restraint, a flexible baby bath and a convertible stroller have all taken out awards for design excellence in the Australian International

The overall winner was the Danish-designed Kompan ICON playground – a concept that fuses gaming technology with outdoor play, encouraging kids to run and jump in response to digital games embedded in the equipment. Currently, only residents of Springfield Lakes, QLD, are lucky enough to have an ICON to play with – but no doubt the idea will spread.
