Wannabe designers and fashionistas take note! Joolz is launching a new pram that will get your creative juices flowing. The first of its kind, the Joolz Day Tailor ($1,899) is a customisable pram that allows you to play designer and tailor-make your dream ride.
Here’s how it works. You select which base colour you want: classic black, elegant grey or modern denim:
Then choose your wheel colour, black or silver:
Then select your colour accent, which will appear on the leatherette handle and bumper bar, logo labels, and even the zipper pullers. There are 20 colours to choose from, including the very-now Emerald Green, to delicious Tangerine Tango, to classic Cognac:
You now have a personally customised pram, designed exactly as you want it!
There’s a potential 120 different colour combinations so you can make sure your personal design is just as you like it. The full effect is a gorgeously-matchy matchy pram and accessories with stunning highlights that scream “my style”.
You can play around with different colour combinations and “create” your perfect virtual pram on my-joolz.com. (We’re pretty sure this is what Cher from Clueless would do when she becomes a mum).
The Joolz Day Tailor is not only beautiful, Joolz have thought about all your needs and created a wonderfully practical pram to last you from birth onwards.
The cot includes a hypoallergenic breathable mattress whilst the sun hood includes Air Top: a hidden ventilation opening made from a breathable mesh fabric. When little ones are big enough, swap the cot for the ergonomically designed seat, which can be reversed and adjusted into three different positions. We love that both the seat and cot have been positioned to relieve your back when lifting your baby in or out. The seat has even been designed for table height so little ones are perfectly positioned when you roll up to the local cafe for a babyccino.
The bumper bar can also be quickly opened with one click (no twisting and turning), making it all the easier to get bub out without having to fuss. The Joolz Day Tailor also features an adjustable footrest so you can increase the length as your bub grows. The adjustable handlebar also means that you can get the perfect fit for you, no straining or pushing at the wrong angles.
We also love the tiny little details that demonstrate Joolz’s commitment to an eco-friendly approach: the cardboard packaging can be reused to make a puppet theatre, a picture frame or even a children’s chair.
The Joolz Day Tailor is $1,899 and will be available from selected stockists from August 2014.
