Is anybody else wondering where February went? Here at MGV, we think we lost it in the office! If like us, you’re feeling like the past month has just flown by, don’t fret. March brings with it enough goodies to make up for it and it all starts this weekend. There’s a whole range of fabulous family festivals lined up and we can’t wait to get involved! Adelaide – Adelaide Festival
The Adelaide Festival kicks off this weekend with a spectacular light show planned for Friday night. Head to the Pioneer Women`s Memorial Garden Saturday through to Sunday to enjoy all the special kids events. Expect animal costumes, parades, story tents, picture book making and more!
Melbourne – A day out with Thomas
Kids and parents alike will love taking a trip to Puffing Billy this weekend – Its time for a Day out with Thomas! Take a ride on the blue locomotive and enjoy a jumping castle, face paintings, a pantomime and a meet and greet with the Fat Controller! It’s a must-see for Thomas fans so book up quick as tickets for the ride are selling out fast!
Perth – Free flicks for kids
Northbridge Piazza is playing host to another fabulous season of Free Flicks for Kids and this weekend it’s time for The Croods! Pack a picnic, sink into the beanbags and enjoy an afternoon of free family entertainment. If it gets a thumbs up from the kids you can do it again next week too!
Sydney – Darling family fun
Join in the Madis Gras fun at Darling Harbour this weekend with an afternoon just for families! Darling Family Fun runs from 12-4pm Sunday and will feature heaps of live entertainment and awesome activities just for the young ones.
Melbourne – Little Rockers Radio
Our new favourite radio station is hosting it’s first day of fun this weekend and we can’t wait! Join Sarah from Little Rockers Radio for ‘How Does Your Family Grow’. Go along with the kids and enjoy all sorts of entertainment from fun-key yoga, disco dancing, story time and even DIY gardening!
