Royal baby: Zara Tindall gives birth to second baby girl

Zara Tindall welcomes baby daughter

The Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall has welcomed her second daughter with former rugby player husband Mike Tindall.

The 9lbs 3oz girl was born on Monday and is the fourth grandchild for Zara’s mum, Princess Anne. She’s the seventh great-grandchild for The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. The news was confirmed in an official announcement from Buckingham Palace. The name of the newest royal is yet to be announced.

The couple is also parents to four-year-old Mia Tindall. Zara and Mike suffered a miscarriage in 2016, at four months pregnant. At the time, Mike explained to The Sunday Times that Mia was the couple’s saving grace.

“However down we feel she will come running up in our faces. When I was playing I hardly saw her; now we can see her grow up. I can take her swimming and I can take her to Ninja Tots. You’ll never be able to see her there because she disappears in a puff of smoke.”

It’s been a busy few months for the Royal Family, with the birth of Prince Louis and the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
