It’s official – there’s a royal baby on the way. Kensington Palace has announced that the Duchess of Sussex is pregnant, with a bub due in just a few short months.
It comes as The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, better known as Harry and Meghan, touched down in Australia for a whirlwind visit.
A spokesman said: “Their Royal Highnesses are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in Spring 2019 (Autumn in Australia).

“The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulate them on Friday at the wedding in person.
“Ms Doria Ragland is very happy about the lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Sydney just hours ago ahead of a 16-day trip that will also take in Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand. It’s the couple’s first official royal tour since their wedding in May. A spokesperson said after taking medical advice The Duchess still plans to visit Fiji and Tonga despite the presence of ziki.
The proud parents-to-be have a huge schedule, including the Invictus Games in Sydney on Saturday and dozens of other official events.
