It might be winter, but chances are, your kiddo has a spring in their step because the Victorian school holidays are coming. But before they burst out of the school gates, there’s still time to plan some activities and practice your rendition of ‘Let Me Entertain You’ à la Robbie Williams.

Although we can’t help with the singing, activities are sorted for Melbourne kids. Whether they like to make, run, code or do magic tricks, mini-mites are about to have maximum fun.

Commemorating 90 years of Mickey Mouse, Disney On Ice returns this year to celebrate Mickey and Friends.

This super-cool production honours Walt Disney’s legacy by bringing acclaimed stories like Moana and Toy Story to life on the ice. Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy join Mickey in a grand opening where they venture through the various Disney worlds and treasured tales.

Werribee Zoo Wild Nights

For eight nights only, Werribee Open Range Zoo lights up for its annual Wild Nights. Toast marshmallows by the campfire, play in the Glow Zone, watch dazzling fire performers, see what the animals get up to at night and refuel with hot chocolate, mulled wine and delicious food.

Plus this year, for the first time, see the amazing life-size animatronic dinosaurs at Zoorassic: Dinos After Dark!

The District Ice Slide

The District Ice Slide, District Docklands

Slap on your speed goggles and prepare to slide in style. The Ice Slide is now open at The District Docklands. With fancy new photo technology set to snap beaming faces as they slide down, make sure to have your winter hashtag ready to roll.

Children under four years of age must be accompanied by an adult on the ice slide.

Dino Park comes to Zoos Victoria this Autumn school holidays

During July, Luna Park transforms into a Christmas Wonderland for the whole family to enjoy. Step through Mr Moon’s smile and watch in awe as the magical lights, festive decorations, hourly snowfalls and of gigantic Christmas tree get you into the festive spirit.

Every weekend Santa will be sharing his special ‘Storytelling Sessions’ and letting kids know all about what he gets up to when it’s not Christmas time.
