Bindi Irwin and husband Chandler Powell’s little wildlife warrior is here! The adorable couple just announced the arrival of their daughter, who’s middle names are a heartfelt tribute to her grandfather, Steve Irwin.
Bindi revealed her little girl was born yesterday on the couple’s wedding anniversary, writing, “Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter. Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s.

“Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad. There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”
The new parents also shared the very first photo of their bundle of joy – and they look every bit the besotted mum and dad. Chandler wrote, “After waiting for you to arrive for the last nine months, finally meeting you has been the best moment of my life. You have a big life ahead of you and no matter what, you will be surrounded by a whole lot of love. Thank you for gracing your beautiful mother and me on our wedding anniversary, so excited to have you home.”
Bindi shared a glimpse into her baby girl’s nursery early this year. The couple have been busy during Bindi’s final days of pregnancy, releasing a new Baby Wildlife Warrior range just a few days ago.
The pair married in an intimate ceremony at Australia Zoo in compliance with COVID-19 social distancing restrictions in March last year.

With just one week until her due date, Bindi Irwin has released an adorable range of Baby Wildlife Warrior gear, including rompers, mini khaki shirts and a nappy bag.
As the expecting mum and her husband Chandler Powell await the arrival of their little girl, they’ve been busy putting together the limited edition range, which supports conservation.
The baby clothing includes Baby Wildlife Warriors rompers (from $24.95), featuring illustrations of native animals. The range also includes mini t-shirts (from $29.95), bibs ($19.95), hats ($19.95), khaki shirts ($54.95) and shorts ($44.95).
There are also wooden baby milestone discs ($69.95), with Steve Irwin’s catch-cry ‘crikey’ written along the bottom.
Finally, the couple has also released a Baby Wildlife Warrior Nappy Bag ($69.95), which can be used as a bagpack, tote or shoulder bag and is waterproof – because: adventures!

Bindi revealed the Baby Wildlife Warrior range on Instagram saying, “With our due date about a week away and waiting for our baby girl to arrive, Chandler and I are proud to share a special project that we’ve been working on for months with our Australia Zoo team. Bindi Irwin gives baby nursery sneak peek

Bindi Irwin has given a sweet sneak peek into her baby girl’s nursery, and it’s no surprise that cute and cuddly animals make an appearance.
Bindi, who is in her third trimester, gave her Instagram followers a look into her daughter’s nursery, revealing muted colours, florals and cute bunny decals on the wall.
“Sharing our deepest gratitude to YOU reading this message as we get ready for our daughter to arrive,” the 22-year-old wrote. “The support we have received from your kind comments, Chandler’s family in Florida, mine in Oregon, friends across the globe, our amazing Australia Zoo family – it means the world to us. Baby Wildlife Warrior is already so loved and we are eternally grateful. With all my heart, thank you.”
Bindi has kept her followers up to date on her first pregnancy, with regular baby bump updates, comparing her little girl’s size to some of Australia Zoo’s creatures.
Back in September last year, she explained her baby was ‘about the size of a hummingbird’, while later that month, Bindi said she’d grown to the size of a hatchling Aldabra tortoise.
By the halfway point of Bindi’s pregnancy with husband Chandler Powell, their bub was the same size as a hatched emu chick and at 26 weeks, baby Wildlife Warrior reached the size of a shingleback lizard.
Bindi and Chandler also recently recreated a special pregnancy photo that Bindi’s mum Terri and dad Steve took when they were pregnant with Robert. Naaw!
