Jennifer Lawrence has finally revealed the name and gender of her baby!
The actress and her partner, art gallery director Cooke Maroney welcomed their little one earlier this year in February, but have kept tight-lipped on any information surrounding baby Maroney.
As the cover star for Vogue’s October issue, the 32-year-old opened up about a number of topics including her new movie and motherhood. She revealed that in fact, she and Cooke have a little boy, named Cy.

Cy, a Greek name means ‘sun’ or ‘lord’. Jennifer revealed that the now seven-month-old is named after her husband’s favourite artist the postwar American painter Cy Twombly.
The Hunger Games star revealed in her interview with Vogue that she has found it scary to talk about motherhood. She said “Only because it’s so different for everybody. If I say, it was amazing from the start, some people will think, it wasn’t amazing for me at first, and feel bad.”
Jennifer funnily added that she had the thought: “Everyone keeps saying that I will love my baby more than my cat. But that’s not true. Maybe I’ll love him as much as my cat?”

But once baby Cy entered the world the Academy Award-winning actress said that she felt as though her whole life had started over. In her interview, she says “Like, ‘Now is day one of my life.’ I just stared. I was just so in love… I mean the euphoria of Cy is just-Jesus, it’s impossible. I always tell him, I love you so much it’s impossible.”
As always we are so enamored with Jennifer Lawerence and just love that she is loving motherhood. We wish Jen, Cooke, and Cy all the best as they continue to grow as a family.

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her first baby with husband Cooke Maroney.
A representative of the 31-year-old confirmed the news to PEOPLE, which comes almost two years after Jennifer and her 37-year-old art gallery director husband wed.
The Hunger Games star and Cooke were first linked in June 2018, and were engaged eight months later. Jennifer has described her husband as ‘the greatest human being I’ve ever met’.
There might just be a little something in the water, with an avalanche of celebrity pregnancy and baby announcements – including Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy reveal and the arrival of Cardi B’s baby boy.
