Singer Leona Lewis and her husband Dennis Jauch have welcomed their first baby together, a girl, named Carmel.

After just over a month’s hiatus from Instagram, the singer finally returned with a beautiful image of brand new baby Carmel with Mum and Dad’s hands resting on top of her. She captioned the post:

“And then there were three our little Carmel Allegra arrived 22.7.22 ”

Dennis posted the same photo with the same caption on his Instagram announcing to his followers that the couple’s July baby had arrived.

Marvelling at Leona Lewis’s pregnancy fashion was truly one of our favourite ways to spend procrastinating in the office, scrolling through her Instagram every day just to see what she was going to do next.

She set the fashion standard high early on with the announcement of her pregnancy with a photo shoot where she was captured in a stunning figure-hugging black dress with peek-a-boo should cutouts.

Mid-April the X-Factor alumn was showing off her bump in a lilac bikini and wrap while posing on the beach.

The following week Leona was encompassing Spring in a tight floral number with cutouts which she captioned on Instagram:

But one of our absolute favourite looks worn by the singer was in early May when she celebrated her baby shower with her close friends and family. Leona wore a gorgeous white and yellow sundress with knee-high gumboots – appropriate for the location as the event was held at an animal sanctuary in Brentwood in the UK.

Leona posted a video first showing the highlights of the day, captioning it with:

And followed this with two pictures, one of herself standing in front of her balloon decoration and the second with Dennis cradling her bump and kissing her on the shoulder.

Then at the end of May, the singer was treated to another celebration which she called a ‘baby sprinkle’, where her friends and family organised a beautiful picnic in commemoration of the final few weeks of Leona’s pregnancy.

Dressed in a floral two-piece, the singer wrote:

Feeling all the love at my baby sprinkle love my friends and fam so much, feeling very supported and uplifted at the final stage of pregnancy @thepicnic.collective thank you for this magical set up ✨

In one of her last posts leading up to her birth, Leona shared an insanely gorgeous photoshoot that she had done a little earlier on in her pregnancy. In the photographs she’s wearing a lilac silk two-piece set, posing in front of a spectacularly colour-coordinated sunset. She captioned the photos:

“I’ll never forget my first shoot with the bump! This was when I still had a belly button guys There are so many emotional, physical, personal and professional changes to embrace and as I write this I’m thinking of all the mums and dads out there that go through so much to bring precious little ones into the world. Also loved wearing this @cultgaia piece maternity clothes don’t have to be boring! It’s not long now and I just wanted to send so much love to everyone today, let me know what you’re up to, I love hearing your updates too ”
