Australian celebrity chef Justine Schofield and partner, former AFL star Brent Staker have welcomed their first baby together, a little boy, named Louis.
Both Justine and Brent announced Louis’ arrival into the world with a sweet Instagram photo of the new Mum and Dad cradling their little Virgo baby’s legs. Justine wrote:
“Our beautiful baby boy Louis Staker is here. We are so in love. @brentstaker_”
And Brent captioned his photo:
“Our beautiful boy Louis Staker is here… Just in time for Father’s Day.”

Louis, (pronouced Lou-ee) is from French origin meaning ‘renowned warrior’, and is currently sitting within the top fifty of Australia’s most popular baby names for 2022.
Justine announced her pregnancy in early May with an Instagram post showing off her baby bump in a maternity activewear two-piece with Brent excitedly pointing at her belly. She wrote:
“We’re having a bubba.
So excited, so grateful.
♥️ @brentstaker_”

Since the announcement that she was pregnant, Justine has been super active on Instagram, sharing a whole lot of happy snaps that we are sure will make the best of memories to look back on in the future.
In a video following the announcement Justine can be seen posing in a black dress, showing off something many pregnant women face in the earlier days of their pregnancies. She captioned:
“Someone’s in denial. 😂🤦♀️🤰
The pretty dress ain’t gonna fit anymore girrrl!”

At the beginning of June the Aussie chef who hosts the popular cooking show ‘Everyday Gourmet’ let fans know that with season 12 on its way she was going to be sporting a bit of a different look:
“A new look this year for @everydaygourmettv with the bump coming on the ride 😆. Season 12 starts: MID-JUNE – 4 PM – @channel10au”

We were then given a look into the couple’s baby shower celebrations that were held in Sydney at the Bronte Surf Life Saving Club. Surrounded by many friends and family, the party seemed to have also doubled as a gender reveal.

Although a gender reveal appeared to have taken place, the couple kept this particular detail under wraps until now when they made the announcement of little Louis’ arrival.
We have absolutely loved following along with Justine’s pregnancy, and wish the Masterchef alumn and Brent all the best as they endeavour into parenthood together!
