Aussie actress and Bachelorette alumni Sam Frost and finacé Jordie Hansen have welcomed their first baby into the world together, a wee little boy named Theodore Paul Frost-Hansen.
With a beautiful black and white photo posted to their Instagram, Sam and Jordie made the announcement that little baby Ted had made his way earthside. Accompanying the picture of Mum and newborn bub, the pair captioned:
“This is Ted ❤️
Theodore Paul Frost-Hansen. There’s no words to describe how much we love you • 07/03/2023”

The name Theodore has gained steady popularity over the last few years in the baby naming world, the name not only appearing at number eight on the list of Australia’s top boy baby names for 2022 but actually coming in at number one on our very own list of Mum’s Grapevine’s Top Baby Names for 2022.
Theodore (Theo or Ted for short) is of Greek origins and means ‘the gift of God’ while the Pisces baby’s middle name Paul derives from an old Roman family name and means ‘humble’.
About a month following the announcement that the couple we expecting their first child together, Sam shared some more news with her followers that the pair had moved north to the beautiful beaches of Noosa, Queensland. Cradling her growing bump and posing for a picture on the beach walk Sam wrote:
“Jord & I have made the move to Noosa, QLD ☀️ we thought it would be a beautiful place to raise our little boy. But we’ll be back and forth from Syd, Melb & Adelaide seeing friends, family and doing work bits and pieces 🤍 @jordie.hansen #home”

Towards the beginning of December Sam shared a photo of herself in a bikini on a boat celebrating the start of her third trimester with a bit of a pun.

For Christmas Sam shared with her followers how much in her life had changed over the course of one year. Posting photos for comparison the first showed herself and Jordie Christmas Day with their unborn bub nestled between the pair while the photo on the next slide showed Sam from Christmas last year where she was given a toy called “Grow a Boyfriend”. In her caption which made us giggle, she wrote:
“It’s amazing how much can change in a year. I grew a boyfriend & a baby 🎄❤️ sending love to everyone this Christmas xxx”

Early February found the couple posing for the front cover of Stellar Magazine where they got candid about all things pregnancy. They captioned the image:
“TODAY in @stellarmag 🌟thank you so much for the opportunity to share this special time in our lives. So far our pregnancy photos have just been a couple of mirror selfies. I think it’s safe to say, these are a little nicer 🤭💛”

Finally coming up close to her due date, Sam posted a video showing that she had finished decorating the baby’s new nursery. Noting in her caption that the couple are currently renting Sam showed off the before and after making a note to tag everything in the caption.
“before + after 🤍 we’re currently in a rental so I found some polkadot stickers from Amazon that are “rental-home-friendly” they’re good from afar but up close they’re already falling off. So not sure how long they’ll last tbh.
We’ve put the bassinet in our room for his first few weeks/months… but it might be a bit of trial and error. See what works for bub. Let me know your thoughts on bassinet in your room??

Bachelorette star Sam Frost is expecting her first baby

Former Bachelorette star, Sam Frost, has announced that she is expecting her first baby with fiancé, Survivor star Jordie Hansen.
The Aussie stars took to Instagram Sunday night in a combined post to share the news. Looking cozy and cuddled up in bed, Sam hold an ultrasound image to the camera. It also included a video of Jordie playing the guitar while Sam sings along.
“There is a tiny human coming soon… everyone act surprised when he inevitably inherits his parents odd sense of humour.
We don’t take ourselves or life too seriously, and we’re hoping to teach our tiny one the same values we share… the importance of being unapologetically yourself, always finding the fun and humour in all the small things, and that being kind, loving and empathetic is a superpower ✨
Thank you to all our beautiful friends and family who have supported us during this time, you’re all excellent secret keepers ❤️

Many Australian celebrities, Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni included, were quick to comment their congratulations under the post.
The Bachelor season five winner Laura Byrne wrote: “Congratulations beautiful ❤️❤️❤️”, while season one winner Anna Heinrich also offered her congratulations saying that she is ‘very happy for them both’.
The couple met in 2021 when Sam’s brother was on Survivor with Jordie and have had quite the whirlwind romance, getting engaged after only five months of dating.
