Nick Cannon, a well-known American television host, actor, rapper, and comedian has been in and around the spotlight since 1998 and was even married to the Christmas Queen herself, Mariah Carrey for eight years.

But it isn’t his career that has had Nick making headlines for the past couple of years… it’s his kids! The 42-year-old has in fact fathered ELEVEN children over the last ten years and has another due any day now.

Moroccan Scott & Monroe Cannon #1 & 2

In April 2011, Nick and his then-wife Mariah Carrey welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe. In her autobiography ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carrey’, the singer revealed the special meaning behind the twins’ names. “I wanted them to have the initials MC, like me,” she wrote.

Moroccan is a gender-neutral name of English origin meaning ‘From The Western Kingdom’.

Monroe, inspired by the Hollywood icon Marilyn Monore, means the ‘mouth of the River Roe’ and is derived from Scottish and Irish Gaelic origin.

Golden Sagon Cannon #3

Nick had his next son with American model Brittany Bell in February 2017. Nick shared that Golden has just started the 2nd grade posting back in August of this year to Instagram he showed Golden holding up a first day of school board with the caption:

“Yesterday was the first day of 2ND GRADE for MR. GOLDEN CANNON!! (And he’s only 5 years old!!!) Congratulations Champ!!
I can’t take none of the credit though! He gets his genius from his Mamma! @missbbell 🙏🏾❤️”

Primarily a gender-neutral name, Golden is of English origin and means ‘Covered In Gold’. His middle name Sagon, is of Arabic and Hindi origin and is a name that brings love and new starts into life.

Powerful Queen Cannon #4

Nick and Brittany’s second baby (Nick’s fourth child), Powerful Queen came in December 2020. Nick posted recently a very sweet snap of Powerful sitting in the middle of the bed looking pretty in pink while cheekily sticking her tongue out at the camera. He captioned:

“The Powerful Queen is already in her Word! Hallelujah! 🙌🏾 #CannonGang”

Powerful as a name is pretty self-explanatory – mighty, having great strength or power. Queen is of English origin and means ‘Title For A Female Royal’. Put the two names together and we can bet that this little Capricorn baby is going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Zillion Heir & Zion Mixolydian Cannon #5 & 6

Clearly, twins run in Nick’s family as his next two children, Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian are in fact twins! Nick welcomed Zillion and Zion with DJ and radio personality Abby De La Rosa in June 2021. On his birthday in October, Nick posted a picture of him holding the twin boys standing in front of a gift given to him by his family – a giant kite with a photo of himself also holding Zillion and Zion. He wrote:

“One of the coolest birthday gifts I have ever received!! Anybody who knows me knows one of my favorite and most therapeutic pastimes is flying kites, especially with my children! It’s so blissful and it’s one of the most potent and first memories I have of my own father spending quality time with me as a child. So simple yet so magical! Proves possibilities to be endless in a child’s eyes to witness putting something high in the sky and making it fly! God working through the wind with his glorious omniscient energy!! Zillion is a gender-neutral name of American origin and has the meaning of ‘a huge amount’, while his middle name Heir means ‘one who inherits’. Now say it fast together – that’s right, Zillionaire.

Zion is a name that has been steadily becoming more popular over the last decade. Derived from Hebrew origin, it means ‘highest point’. Zion’s middle name Mixolydian refers to the Mixolydian mode which is a type of ancient Greek musical scale with distinctive harmonic and melodic characteristics.

Zen Cannon #7

Nick’s seventh baby, Zen Cannon was born in June 2021 with model Alyssa Scott who also has a daughter Zeela, born from a previous relationship. Unfortunately just days after the birth of their son it was clear that not everything was okay. At 2 months old baby Zen was diagnosed with a high-grade glioma which is a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Nick and Alyssa made the very tough decision to not go forward with any invasive procedures to give Zen the best quality of life he could possibly have. In early December Zen passed away with his Mum and Dad by his side.

A few days later Nick shared on his talk show the news with the world.

Legendary Love Cannon #8

In July of this year, Nick welcomed his eighth child, Legendary Love with model Bre Tiesi. The pair announced Legendary’s entrance into the world with a series of Instagram photos showing the three wearing matching white sweatsuits standing in front of a balloon arrangement spelling out the new bub’s name.

Bre also posted to her YouTube a video that documented her pregnancy, natural induction, labour and delivery. The video shows the emotional rollercoaster of Bre’s unmedicated home birth.

The baby name Legendary is an aspirational word name meaning ‘of legend’. His middle name Love is of British origin and means exactly what it is, love!

Onyx Ice Cole Cannon #9

Coming in at number nine, baby girl Onyx Ice Cole Cannon was born in September of this year to her parents Nick and model LaNisha Cole. Posting a black and white photo to his Instagram of himself, LaNisha and baby Onyx, Nick wrote a lengthy caption about he was once again in ‘Awe of the Devine Feminine’. He went on to talk about how he and LaNisha have been given the privilege to host ‘an Angel here on earth’ and that he vows to ‘protect, provide, guide and love’ Onyx to the best of his abilities.

The name Onyx is of Greek origins and means fingernail or claw. Onyx is also a black gemstone and has become a popular baby name over the years. Her middle name Ice is of American origin and means frozen water.

Rise Messiah Cannon #10

Just a few days later (nine to be exact) Nick welcomed his tenth child and third baby with Brittany Bell. In an Instagram post, Nick announced that his fellow Libra baby Rise Messiah Cannon was born on the 23rd of September 2022 joining siblings Golden and Powerful. He wrote:

“Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable. But more importantly he has blessed me with loving individuals to guide me with care through this purposeful life. I am so indebted and grateful for the matriarch energy in my time of need. @missbbell has been the rock and foundation of my Fatherhood journey. She has taught me so much about parenting, psychology, spirituality, love and just life in general. For our third child she told me she didn’t want a baby shower and needed NOTHING! All she desired was PRAYER from her authentic Loved Ones! I am learning that is the best GIFT! She introduced me to the concept of a BlessingWay! As you can see in the video, a bunch of powerful prayer warriors interceding for our new child’s entrance to Earth! And boy did we need it! Of American origin, the name Rise means ‘To Bring Or Lift Up’ while his middle name Messiah is a Biblical name of Aramaic origin meaning ‘expected saviour or deliverer’.

Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon #11

Lucky number eleven, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon is the most recent member of the #CannonGang making her entrance earthside as a November baby. Beautiful is Nick and Abby De La Rosa’s third baby after twins Zillion and Zion. Nick made the announcement on Instagram with a photo of Mum and Dad cradling the new baby girl. He wrote:

“11/11/2022 A BEAUTIFUL DAY for “BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN CANNON” to arrive! Mommy @hiabbydelarosa I love you! You make it ALL look so easy and effortless but I am forever indebted to your tireless work of constant dedication, diligent effort and selfless love that you give to our children and myself. Beautiful is privileged to have such a Loving and Spiritually inclined Mother. Your resilience and strength doesn’t go unnoticed. Watching you smile through the world’s madness and my constant craziness is so impressive. Beautiful, a word that many of us use daily, means ‘having qualities of beauty’ while her middle name Zeppelin is a gender-neutral name of German origin that has become an extremely popular name, especially throughout Hollywood.

Halo Marie Cannon #12

Are you still with us? Rounding off this long list is Nick’s final baby of 2022. Alyssa Scott announced in October that she was expecting her second baby with the rapper. With her first daughter, four-year-old Zeela, on her hip, the model made the announcement on Instagram. She wrote:

Professional father and TV personality Nick Cannon has welcomed his twelfth baby with model Alyssa Scott, a little baby girl, named Halo Marie Cannon.

The model made the announcement over on Instagram, with a very sweet video put together of Halo’s birth. Alyssa wrote:

“December 14 2022. Our lives are forever changed ❤️Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs everyday. I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nicks voice saying “it’s a girl” and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon! 🤍”

The name Halo is of Greek origin and has the meaning ‘Devine Aura, a disc of the sun or moon’. The ethereal name is followed by the more traditional middle name Marie which is the French version of Mary and stems from the Latin phrase “Stella Maris” which means ‘star of the sea’.

Arriving right before Christmas meant that little Halo made it in just in time to have her first meeting with Santa. Alyssa shared a few days ago that it was “still Christmas over here!!” with a sweet photo of Halo having sleepy cuddles with the big man himself.
