Australian actress Rebel Wilson has welcomed her first child into the world, a little baby girl named Royce Lillian.
Rebel took to Instagram this morning to make the surprise announcement that baby girl ‘Roycie’ was born this past week via surrogate. She wrote:
“Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!
“I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making… but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!
“I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly… much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club.”

The beautifully unique name Royce is a gender-neutral name with German origins and aptly means ‘fame’ whilst her middle name has a Spring meaning behind it. Lillian, meaning ” purity, ” is derived from one of the earth’s most vibrant florals, Lilium, which symbolises peace, passion, and rebirth.
The Pitch Perfect star was met with many congratulations and well wishes from famous friends including co-stars, big Hollywood names, and Australian celebs from back home.
In June of this year, the 42-year-old announced her relationship with fashion and jewellery designer Ramona Agruma. In an Instagram showing a selfie of the pair Rebel wrote:
“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess 💗🌈💗#loveislove”

It is unclear if Rebel and Ramona are co-parenting little Royce together, but either way, we know the new addition to their life is going to be surrounded by endless love!
