Kaley Cuoco, the beloved actress best known for her role as Penny in the hit TV show “The Big Bang Theory,” recently welcomed her first child into the world with partner Tom Pelphrey, a baby girl named Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey.

In an Instagram post sharing the exciting news, Kaley shared a photo of the newborn swaddled in a hospital blanket with a large and adorable bow on her head. The caption read:

“💓 3-30-23 💓 Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives. We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle 💓 Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief 💗 @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did 💗”

Similarly, new dad, Tom posted on his Instagram a variety of photos of the overjoyed parents and their little girl with the caption:

Celebrities and friends flooded the comments of Kaley’s post wishing the new family all the love and congratulations including stars like Chelsea Handler, Hilary Duff, Josh Gad, and Zoey Deschanel.

The beautiful baby girl name Matilda is quite the popular girls name especially here in Australia with it appearing at number nine on Australia’s top boy baby names for 2022 as well as number five on our very own list of Mum’s Grapevine’s Top Baby Names for 2022.

Of German origin, Matilda is a name fit for a warrior with the meaning ‘mighty in battle’. Her middle names are equally as beautiful as Carmine, which is a gender-neutral name of Latin origin, means ‘song’ and Richie, also of German origins, means ‘old or powerful leader’.

Throughout her pregnancy, Kaley has given us glimpses into her journey with very sweet and funny photos over the last few months.

For Christmas, the Big Bang Theory actress posted a great trio of photographs professionally taken of the couple that are sure to make the mantle piece of memories. Standing on a dirt path with Dad showing his love for Mum and the bump, the couple are absolutely glowing.

Being two of the biggest television stars in Hollywood, it was only expected that we would see the pair at the Golden Globe Awards back in January of this year. Looking stunning in a lilac, empire waist, flowy gown by Vera Wang, Kaley captioned the photo of herself and Tom on the grey carpet giving thanks to her team.

A few days leading up to the birth of Matilda, Kaley posted a couple of black and white images with Tom and of course her first (fur) babies. In her caption she wrote:

Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco and partner, actor Tom Pelphrey are expecting their first baby together – a girl.

Taking to Instagram today, both Kaley and Tommy announced the very exciting news.

“Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023 beyond blessed and over the moon… I love you @tommypelphrey!” Kaley captioned.

The post included a number of what looks to be photos of the couple’s pregnancy journey so far including posing with pregnancy tests, tiny baby rompers, bump pics, and a gender reveal cake.

Tommy known for his role in Netflix’s Ozark, wrote on his Instagram: “And then it was even MORE BETTER. 🎀🎀🎀. Love you more than ever @kaleycuoco ♥️🙏♥️” sharing similar photos to Kaley.

The 36-year-old Flight Attendant star has been posting to her Instagram story all morning, showing more behind-the-scenes into what being pregnant while filming has been like, especially dealing with the early pregnancy symptoms which for Kaley included dealing with morning sickness.

She also shared a couple of snaps of herself and Tommy including one of her wearing a very cute pair of Ergobaby pregnancy overalls as well as a photo from before the 2022 Emmys that were just last September when they were still hiding that they were expecting.

The Hollywood couple who have the same manager, met earlier this year when said manager set them up. They made their relationship “official” just a couple of months later when Tommy took to Instagram to post polaroids taken of the couple accompanied with a heartfelt caption.
