The talented singer and Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey and her longtime rapper boyfriend DDG have welcomed their first child into the world, a beautiful baby boy named Halo.
With fans speculating for months on whether or not she was pregnant, Halle finally put the rumours to rest as she took to Instagram to announce the surprise arrival of her son and even made reference to the neverending speculation towards the end of her caption.
“even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo ✨the world is desperate to know you ♥️”

The baby name Halo is of Greek origin and carries the meaning of divine aura, a disc of the sun or moon. Symbolising purity, grace and divine presence, the name evokes a sense of heavenly beauty and spiritual significance which is more than fitting since Halle’s latest single, one that has been Grammy-nominated, is called Angel.
Celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Tia Mowry and Rachel Zegler were all present in Halle’s comments offering their congratulations and love. Mum of two Khloe Kardashian even left a sweet message saying: “Congratulations mommy!!!! Welcome to the world sweet Halo! What a blessing!! This is when life gets even better “.
