It seems as though there’s something in the air of Hollywood at the moment with another star announcing that they’re expecting. High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale and her husband Christopher French shared the exciting news with fans that they are expecting their second child together.
The actress took to social media to make the announcement, posting adorable pictures with her husband and their daughter three-year-old Jupiter, proudly displaying her growing baby bump.

Ashley’s husband, musician Christopher French, expressed his excitement in the comments section, writing, “here we goooo! I love you. We can do this lol.” He also shared the news on his own Instagram account, posting more pictures of their growing family and expressing his gratitude.
“Beyond grateful. Thank you my beautiful love @ashleytisdale for another baby French 💘” he wrote in the caption.

Ashley responded with equal enthusiasm, commenting, “I love you!!! Juju is just too cute we had to have another!!”
Following the announcement, Ashley’s comments section was flooded with messages of congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities alike. Glee star Lea Michele wrote, “So happy for your beautiful family!!! 💓💓💓,” while Sofia Richie Grainge exclaimed, “Ahhh! Congratulations 😍”. Even High School Musical director Kenny Ortega joined in the celebration, writing, “What 😱 Yes!!! 🙌🏼 Congratulations Ashley, Christopher, Jupiter, and family. 🤍”
Many fans couldn’t contain their excitement, especially after noting that the founder of the wellness beauty brand ‘Frenshe’ is not the only High School Musical cast member expecting. Her co-star Vanessa Hudgens confirmed earlier this year that she is also expecting, showcasing her baby bump on the Oscars red carpet.
Ashley and Chris who have been married since 2014, welcomed their first child, Jupiter, in 2021. In a post to Instagram, Ashley shared a black and white photograph of Jupiter’s tiny hands wrapped around her parent’s thumbs.
