Wave hello to a new little grom on the horizon because the surf world’s very own legend, Kelly Slater, and his long-time love, Kalani Miller, are getting ready to ride the waves of parenthood after announcing that they’re expecting their first baby together.

In an utterly heart-melting moment shared on Instagram, 52-year-old Kelly announced he’s about to be a dad again, but this time, with his beautiful partner of nearly two decades, Kalani. Through a black-and-white video, the couple shared a sneak peek into their joy. Holding hands and sharing an embrace, the camera lovingly zooms in on Miller’s baby bump.

This isn’t Kelly’s first adventure into fatherhood, as he shares a daughter, 27-year-old Taylor, from a previous wave in his life. However, this is the first baby he’s expecting with Kalani, making the news extra special for the duo who’ve been inseparable since they first met in 2006.

Kelly and Kalani’s love story is one for the books, starting from their first meeting at a trade show in San Diego back in 2006. Since then, they’ve been giving us snippets of their love-filled journey together, from birthday shoutouts filled with gratitude to cozy holiday snaps that scream couple goals.
