With an analog camera almost as big as him, six-year-old Hawkeye Huey is going places – literally.
Hawkeye Huey might be knee-high to a grasshopper, but this junior photo journalist has an eye for composition and comes from quality stock. Dad Aaron Huey is a National Geographic photographer and together they’re travelling far and wide, capturing the lives of people, places, alpacas, cacti and lots more on film. Yes, that old thing called ‘film’.
Hawkeye Huey got his first camera as a four-year-old and then spent 18 months travelling around the American West with his dad. The result is an Insta account with 215,000 followers, an art book and a thumbs up from Rolling Stone and TIME magazines. Not a bad start to his career!
