Actress Amber Heard has welcomed her first child, a baby daughter, who she says is, ‘the beginning of the rest of my life’. And as far as unique baby names go, the Aquaman star has found an absolute beauty for her baby girl.

The 35-year-old, who was previously married to Johnny Depp, has released a photo cradling her now three-month-old daughter, named Oonagh Paige Heard. The name has Greek, Scottish and Irish origins, meaning ‘pure and holy’. Her middle name ‘Paige’ is most likely a tribute to Amber’s late mum.
Amber explained in her baby announcement that she decided four years ago that she wanted a child. “I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib. A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this. My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”
Amber, who’s next set to star in Aquaman 2, has been in a relationship with cinematographer Bianca Butti since January 2020.
