Forget about power struggles and corporate drama, now it’s all about nappy changes and newborn snuggles for our favourite actress from the hit show “Succession,” Sarah Snook. Yes, that’s right, the Aussie actress and her husband Dave Lawson have welcomed their own little successor into the world.
In her second-ever post to Instagram, the 35-year-old made an emotional tribute to mark the end of an era with the hit television show airing its final episode. In the picture, Sarah is seen sitting in front of the television, about to watch the Succession finale with what seems to be a tiny head right next to her, making a subtle announcement with not only the photo but in her caption.
“It’s hard to express what this show has meant to me. The places I got to go, the immense talent I got to work with…it breaks my heart that it is all over. But my heart had to be this full of all the memories, good times, challenges and triumphs, to be able to break at all…so that makes me grateful. To have been blessed to join this crazy adventure of a show will be a career highlight, which will no doubt be hard to top. I am so, so proud and humbled by everyone’s hard work season after season: we all set the bar high for each other, then exceeded it and excelled, in every department. The friendships, the scripts, the locations, the one liners, the early mornings, the last minute changes, all the highs and lows: I’m going to miss it all. The people of this show are a talented bunch, and I’m proud to have worked alongside them, it’s the people I will miss most of all.
I just watched the final episode of the final season of something that has changed my life. And now, my life has changed again. Thank you for all the love and support.”

The Aussie actress originally debuted that she and Dave were expecting at the Succession season 4 premiere in New York in late March, confirming to reporters on the carpet that she was expecting her first child.

Up until the announcement, Sarah had done a good job at keeping the pregnancy pretty private as by the time she revealed the bump she only had two months left. In an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she spoke about being pregnant with her first baby and that she only had the realisation just before the premier that some friends and family were going to find out once she hit the black carpet.
Although we don’t know the little one’s name or gender we just know that it’s impossible not to feel a sense of joy and excitement for the talented Sarah Snook, who has embarked on the most magical role of her life – that of a loving mother. We wish her and Dave all the congratulations.
