Decked out in her usual glamour, High School Musical alumni Vanessa Hudgens hosted this year’s Academy Awards red carpet, but it wasn’t the A-list celebrities she interviewed that stole the spotlight.
With a radiant smile and undeniable glow, the 35-year-old clad in a chic black long-sleeved gown that elegantly hugged a growing belly, lovingly revealed that she and her husband, American professional baseball player Cole Tucker are expecting their first baby together.

The carpet buzzed with congratulations and well-wishes as the Mum-to-be posed for cameras and went on to co-host the pre-show. Along with the congratulations on the carpet, Vanessa’s Instagram was flooded with love from fans and famous friends alike sending their love.
Twilight star, Nikki Reed commented “Oh hi there gorgeous mama” while the iconic Leslie Mann sent some heart emojis.
For the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party, Vanessa showed up with another showstopping look, wearing an all-black, sheer floor-length gown. Showing off that bump she captioned:

Vanessa and Cole started dating around November 2020 after the couple met on a Zoom meditation group. They made their relationship “Instagram official” on Valentine’s the next year with Vanessa posting a photo of a little PDA with the caption,

After three years of dating, Cole finally popped the question while the couple were on holiday in the city of love. Bundled up for the Paris winter, the couple shared photos embracing one another with Vanessa holding up her ring finger. In her caption, they wrote:
